Highlands Slovakia, also known as Christian Center Berea, is located in the beautiful Carpathian Mountains, 45 minutes north of Bratislava, the capital of the European country of Slovakia. The town of Harmonia, where the camp is located, is a small picturesque village that includes much of historical Slovakian culture. The camp facility is a completely remodeled building that has two floors of individual rooms that sleep 4 campers each, with on-suite bathroom facilities. The building had formerly been a communist youth training building during the Soviet empire.
The upstairs floor is built as dorms, with girls on one end and boys on the other, and bathroom facilities for each side. The camp is located at the end of the road off of a main highway so it has private facilities but is easily accessible. The camp enjoys access to 10 acres of an open grass field that is used for outdoor activities. The camp building has a large communal gathering room, dining hall, and kitchen.
