Recently, the Liberty University men’s tennis team traveled to Highlands Dominican Republic. The purpose of the trip was to share the Gospel, serve the people of the Dominican Republic, and to grow closer as a team. “The trip was a success on all levels and the highlight was the amazing people and leaders that we met,” said one of the players.
The Rawlings Foundation provided food and housing for the team at the Tierra Alta Santo Domingo camp. The team participated in a service project at the remote village of Olivares and Olivares Baptist Church, Casa de Luz handicap orphanage, and three training sessions at the Santo Domingo National Tennis Center.
