The Highlands camp is located on National Highway 4, midway between the capitol city of Phnom Penh and the city of Sihnoukville. The campus lies in a picturesque valley between two mountain ranges known as the Elephant Mountains. The camp contains housing, dining and meeting facilities for a capacity of nine hundred or more campers.
Two missionaries met nearby this area in 1995, and prayed that someday God would permit a camp to be built in this area. Their prayers were answered as the Highlands was inaugurated in August 2006.
The Highlands Camp is a ministry of the Rawlings Foundation, and its purpose for locating in this area was to be able to reach the youth from both major cities and all the villages in between. Also, to plant churches in the region, since there were none to be found.
The camp ministry utilizes missionaries and pastors in a mass-evangelism strategy, using sports as our focal point in reaching the youth.
The ministry works with pastors and missionaries to do church camps, follow up camps, and church leader camps in order to boost national leadership in soul winning, discipleship, and world missions.
We offer a varied number of different camp opportunities, such as, Medical, Church, School Retreats, Sports, Talent, Pastor’s Conferences and others.
Church Planting Ministry (CPM)
This ministry was started to give direction and continued instruction to our young pastors that have graduated from Bible College and are now pastoring local churches. Weekly meetings are held with these young men, encouraging them in areas of how to build a thriving, evangelistic church.
Highlands Bible College
In 2009, a decision was made to begin construction on a Bible College located on the existing campus. This became a need as young people began to dedicate their lives to full time ministry, with life changing decisions made at camp. We are now in a position to train students for the Pastorate, Missions, Music and Christian Education.
